I need to fin out if it's legal to sell raw goats milk in NC

I think you need to call your county extension office. If they can't tell you, they should be able to direct you to who you need to talk to.

In answer to your question, no, its not. i am just over the border in VA and have several friends who raise goat in NC and a membe rof their clubs. You can however mkae cheese to sell at farmers markets and soap. You can check this website to get NC's regs if theya re psoted, its http://www.realmilk.com If you would like to contact some of my friends there who do make cheese and soap e-mail me privately and i'll give you contact information. also, try going to the NC dept of ag's website, they ahve a lot of useful info there.

In one of Joel Salatins books he says that someone he knows sells their goat milk as "pet food". What they do with it when they get home is their business. So maybe you could advertise it as pet food?
