Military helicopter crashes near Kosovo
A British armed forces helicopter has crashed near the border between Kosovo and Macedonia.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) confirmed that seven people were on board - three crew and four passengers.
The British Puma helicopter came down at Kranacia, south-west of Pristina, at 1345GMT.
An MoD spokeswoman declined to say whether there were any fatalities.
Nato officials said the helicopter went down around 1545BST while flying above mountainous terrain in a border region with Macedonia.
They said visibility was poor, with heavy rain
and low cloud.
