Have you ever considered getting a real life?

-- mitch hearn (moopups1@aol.com), March 29, 2001.

Gee, Mitch, from where what I can read, our friend Hoot has a great life!

-- Ardie from WI (a6203@hotmail.com), March 29, 2001.

Mitch, if you don't like Hoot's posts, don't read them. It's that simple. I've read posts that I don't agree with, but I don't slam the writer.

I like ole' hoot. Read his stories. Sounds like you need to hear one. Smile, it will do a world of wonders.

-- Judy (inhishand65@yahoo.com), March 29, 2001.

Mitch , whe have all adopted "Uncle Hoot " so I would watch what you say he's family .Why do people have such a hard time being nice ?

-- Patty {NY State} (fodfarms@slic.com), March 29, 2001.

Mitch, the sooner you learn to accept the differences in people, the happier person you'll be. Hopefully, you will mature soon.

-- Colleen (pyramidgreatdanes@erols.com), March 29, 2001.

Wow! I just can't seem to please everybody-hard as I try! I'm sorry Mitch-that I can't get anymore life than I already have. I'm also sorry that you don't see things the way I do. I probably am small minded, backwoodsy and in general, a hick--however; I have tried liv'n the life that society says we should all live. I choose not to live life like that. I choose to treat my fellow man with dignity, respect and with a hand extended in friendship. So, it's too bad that you don't agree with my lifestyle but then again I probably don't agree with yours. Anybody can find fault with others--I choose not to look down my big old ugly nose at others and condemn them just because they might be liv'n differently than I do. I would invite ya'll down so we could set and talk a spell but spose it would bore you with my "lifeless lifestyle"! OH! BTW, last time I checked the only ONE perfect man had not come back just yet. I'm look'n for Him real soon though! ole hoot, the hillbilly from IL. Matt.24:44

Mitch, AOL????? Why don't YOU get a REAL server? I hope mommy puts the parental lockout back on the PC real soon.

-- greg (gsmith@tricountyi.net), March 29, 2001.

Hooray for Hoot!!!! (By the way... can I complain that you didn't write enough??? lol!)

Hoot - if you are backwards and small-minded, then we all should be! I admire you - you are honest, creative and loving... Helpful and thoughtful and all the things I am trying to develop in myself.

-- Sue Diederich (willow666@rocketmail.com), March 29, 2001.

Hoot-- why have I had the feeling that you are anything at all like the way you write? I feel that you are very educated, bright, sensitive and have lived a full life no matter how young you may be. Lynne

-- lynne (leaves8@hotmail.com), March 29, 2001.

Mitch, Why? And what the hell business is it of yours anyway?

-- John in S. IN (jsmengel@hotmail.com), March 30, 2001.

Betcha Mitch is a friend of Ed's...

-- Shannon at Grateful Acres Animal Sanctuary (gratacres@aol.com), March 30, 2001.

-- debra in ks (solid-dkn@msn.com), March 30, 2001.

Oh yes, forgot about Ed!!! Love yah hoot - pleasing God is all we really have to do anyway. God Bless.

-- diane (gardiacaprines@yahoo.com), March 30, 2001.

Hoot is a wonderful person, and he's smarter than you might think,,anyone that can get off the grid and live happily is "smart" in my book. He also is generous, non-judgemental, and "Keeps me smiling",,with his jokes and stories,,I love his posts,,so try to be nice Mitch, you might like it,,,,Hoot, I enjoyed looking at your pictures on CS picture page,,but are you and Dumplin on it? AND, I am still enjoying my sassafrass tea,,, Hope your wonderful summer plans work out perfect...(off the grid plans) Tell Dumplin hello

-- Patsy, MT (cozyhollow-gal@care2.com), March 31, 2001.

Just for the record, NOT that it is anyone's business. I do not know anyone named Mitch.

Everyone have a nice day....ED

-- Ed Copp (OH) (edcopp@yahoo.come), March 31, 2001.

One more thing. I do kind of like to read postings by Hoot, as well as others who base thier comments on "hands on experience" and "logic".

Actually that also eliminates a lot of folks too...I guess you know who you are.

-- Ed Copp (OH) (edcopp@yahoo.come), March 31, 2001.

Mitch, I think Grandpa Hoot needs to get a good weeping willow whip, and take you out back! Ignore him, Grandpa!

-- Michael W. Smith in North-West Pennsylvania (kirklbb@penn.com), April 01, 2001.

You got friends Hoot! Ain't heaven going to be GREAT! Keepthe faith. We love you and Dumplin'.
