My mother has recurring bacterial infections from a chronically swollen leg which is a result of cancer treatments many years ago. When she gets a fever and infection she goes to the doctor and he prescribes a new medicine to kill the infection. Invariably the medicine has side effects which make her ill. This is a vicious cycle.

Recently I have been reading about Colloidal Silver. What are your experiences with this? What information can you give me about this substance or anything else that might help.

Two years my daughter had Lyme disease and I successfully treated it with colloidal silver, no antibiotics. My brother-in-law has told some interestig stories of his helping people who had cuts, sores, which would never go away and which cleared up almost immediately when colloidal silver was applied. I guess there's some debate as to the proper "particle" size and/or parts per billion needed for the stuff to be effective, and I have had batches of the stuff for whatever reason did not work. You have to be careful whom you but from.

My wife will use Colloidal Silver to heal her sore throat, works well & quickly. You might want to look at some natural/ alternative remedies to help boost your Mom's immune system.

You can fix the 'acute' problem but you should also address the 'chronic' problem; that is a suppressed or damaged immune system. Just a thought...

I have used colloidal silver for over 2 years now, on everything from colds, sore throats and topical wounds. I have found it to be amazingly well in curing bacterial infections. I have used it in the ears of my children, and for sinuses. I have used it on open wounds on the goats and chickens, and even used it to clear up sinus infection in the turkey! I bought a machine a year ago and make my own. sissy

I'm a sceptic too! Silver is absolutely inert and is not an essential element, so it's hard to imagine that it could have any health effect. I'd put it in the same realm as faith healing, which I'm sure works for some people.
