Rubber pants, for cloth diapers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I cannot find rubber pants for cloth diapers any where near where I live. We are in desperate need of some big toddler ones. I have purchased them in PA while on vacation but didn't make it down this winter. You wonderful folks helped me out in this department once before and I was very grateful.(a woman sent me her hand me downs). If you happen to be at a store in your area and notice they are in stock, I would be so happy to have you buy some and mail them to me and I'll gladly and quickly send you what they cost plus postage and maybe some seeds or something? Thank you in advance for checking your store shelves! I sure wish we didn't need them but...

I can order them direct from Gerber but they are out of this world expensive!

Try GVS catalog 1-800-398-2494. Prices are about the same as Walmart charges. They have vinyl too which are virtually indestructable and breath better than plastic.

I used to get nylon pants at Sears. They last and last...I used the same ones for 3 kids, they were getting a bit ratty by the time the third one got them

Jacki, by your e-mail address you seem to live in Connecticut. If you are anywhere near Fairfield County, try Little Blessings in Southport - they carry these great nylon diaper pants in the big sizes. They're called Feather Lites, manufactured by Warren Featherbone in Gainesville, GA, 30501 - I happened to have the old label handy, but maybe you could find a website or e-mail address.

I found the website - www.alexisusa.com. Phone number 1-800-253-9476. Did their online merchant search and even the store in Southport did not come up, but maybe they can help if you call.

I will call my Mom to see if she still has my daughter's if you want. Send me an email, and I'll call tonight. There might be five or six pairs, and you can have them free (They were all disinfected and packed up nice, but you will have to do that again before using them) Just let me know -
