Another give away. (Library/reference)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have aquired 25 issues of "Farmstead" magazine that I will give away to someone who would like to have them. The magazines are from the early to mid 1980s and remind me of Countryside and Mother Earth News.

As others have done, post a response here if you would like your name included in a drawing for the free issues. All I ask is that they not be sold. They were free to me, so what goes around comes around. I intend to draw a name on the 15th unless it should slip my mind. Same as with others, the name drawn will be contacted for their mailing address. I will then ship the magazines parcel post.

I hope someone can use them and enjoy them.

Sign me up! I'd love to have them, read every kernel of info in them, then pass them on (free of charge) to someone else who can use them. Actually, I'm in the process of negotiations with the local school district and the state to get a local library where I live ~ if they'll donate some $$ for a building, Sis and I will donate the land and round up the troops to hold fundraisers for books and reference materials (I'm a pretty good beggar when it comes to something like this ~ did it for ten years for the local VFD/EMS). I'd LOVE to add these to the booty we've already accumulated. I hope I win! Thank you for offering this chance for me to!
