I asked about geothermal not too long ago. For lots of good articles go to these two sites:

www.waterfurnace.com

www.climatemaster.com

We put it in our new house. Just love it. We have 90% ceramic tile floors, two bedrooms in Pergo. Can't use a thick padded carpet I understand, but we got the tile cheap, so that's the way we went. Easy to take care of too. The heat is wonderful. No air blowing dust around. Even the furniture is warm. You can tell where the warm water lines are in the floor, that's where the dogs lay down!. Our home is inground and super insulated. Very comfortable.
