WinOnCD 3.7 pause between segments

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have used EZ CD Creator in the past to create video cd's with no pause between segments. I now am using WinOnCD because apparently because EZ CD Creator won't function with WinOnCD installed on the same computer. I noticed there is a pause between segments when played on my Pioneer DVD player. Am I doing something wrong? The German help files aren't much help. I create a start node. and then drop and drag the mpg files I want. I then connect them so that they should play sequentially but there is a pause of 1 or 2 seconds between each.

Hey Al, try this: when you have your play node go to it's properties and change the "seconds waited after each play item" to zero and try it that way--

I don't see that option under properties

No problem...I reinstalled EZ CD Creator and it did the same thing. I don't remember having that problem in the past. I recorded Howard Sterns New Years Rotten Eve and chopped it up in about 14 segments and it's pausing between each one

Hey Al, right before you burn the vcd in adaptec you have to chage it from "track at once" to "disk at once". Disk at once wipes out the 2 second gap between tracks, although this doesnt always work for vcds but thats what you probably used to do

I think you're right I better give that a try. I now have three copies of this show on VideoCD
