I am tryind to find a home for a 3yr.old fixed male,he is a GREAT stock dog and pet,his one problem is he will not get along with other dogs.We have 2 others ,one he plays with the other he fights. I would like him to go to a working farm,he is now with goats,a pony and calves. He is house broken and does know basic commands,he is also good with children. I need to place him beause of the fact of the other dogs not being able to go into the field. I am in Maryland and prefer not to ship him,he is around 110-120lbs. Please e-mail me for more info.

Renee, I'm sorry it's not going to work out for him. I remember your post of a few days ago. If I was closer, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I spent alot of last evening listening to the coyotes down near the goat pen, while the two aussies just stood up by the house and barked back at them. Hope folks near you realize what a find it is to get a dog that is already broke in on the job.

Renee, sorry you are having trouble with your dog!! I would take him in a minute because I have been looking for a pyrenees. But, I have a 10 year old german shephard and a 2 year old springer spaniel male(neutered). Who is he fighting with a male or female or doesn't it matter? My shepherd is very docile and doesn't move much. My springer is active when there isn't 3 feet of snow but gets along with other dogs very well. We also have four children and a cow , two goats and chickens. Is he neutered? I know that it doesn't always work but could that be the problem? If you think that he would work somewhere else with dogs he doesn't know or have dominance over, please email me we are really interested in pyrenees and are looking for a family dog and a protecter of our livestock. (we are getting sheep in the spring and the coyotes are hovering around now that the food is scarce) Please keep me in mind even if this doesn't work out!! I think that you said you weren't going to have a litter for a while , but if you know of anyone who will or does, let me know!! thanks cara lewis cnllewis@email.com

Oh golly don't I wish I was closer!!!!!!! That is one beautiful breed and I would love to have him since you say he is good with kids. I have a spayed female mutt and she doesn't get along with other dogs either so I know your sadness. Hugs to you and best wishes in finding good loving home for him.

Oh,they are wonderful dogs! We got one from a shelter and only had him for a year and a half. He died of cancer. He was a wonderful pet. I'm surprised that yours fights with other dogs as ours was so gentle...but then he was neutered. I called him our Gentle Giant and I miss him to this day. As a handicapped person I was concerned that he would knock me on my you-know-what, but he never once even bumped into me. Good luck in finding him a good home and God bless!
