I just got a 20 button Anglo Concertina and would like to know if anyone out there has one and can offer some advise to a non player who wants to learn.

I haven't seen one of those in years! Just take it in hand, make a joyful noise and have fun. If you read music, get a pitch pipe or a keyboard or something to give your middle C and figure out your scale from there. If you don't read music, have fun anyway.

I got to play with one when I was a little kid and I have very fond memories.

An anglo is tuned like a harmonica..push for one note, pull for another. They are easily played by ear. I own several, as well as some english concertinas (same note..push or pull). There are instruction manuals for both types of concertina. Try a search online. Lot of fun if you stick with it, and don't drive everyone around you mad in the process.
