A few of my favorite bumper stickers: Gun control means using BOTH hands. Politicians prefer unarmed peasants. There are a few more but I'd receive too much hate mail :o).

And remember, folks - to all those who disagree, all dues paying members of the NRA get to vote on NRA policy, not just the ones who like guns. Infiltrate and aggrevate. It keeps you from getting bored on the weekends! ;)

Ken, when I was a young lady, I was sitting in my car with the window down, in the city, when a junkie with a knife approached and got in my space. His nose was 4 inches from the business end of my 38 special. I'll never forget the look on his face and he burted out, "HEY, THAT'S ILLEGAL!!" then he ran.

Yes, I was in a strict handgun controlled city so I was supposed to be an easy victim, but us mountain girls don't play by those city rules.

Thankyou Kenneth. I think I will print this out and retype it, so I can send it to a few friends in Washington DC.

BTW - Jon Dourghty (SP?), a columnist at www.worldnetdaily had a very good column yesterday about this issue. Should be easy to find at the web site.

QUOTE FOR THE THOUGHTFUL AMONG YOU:

"This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!"
