Huge question for tiny space. In very general, H's imagery streams very directly rather than as structured similes or metaphors. Implies he is speaking very honestly, from the heart. Implies he is very comfortable with all the many areas from which he draws his images: the everyday world of eating, sleeping, animals, beer; sports and hunting; law; classical literature and mythology; theology and the scriptures; Renaissance medicine and natural science; gardening; history; music; philosophy. imagery in hamelt eyy... therws seriously a shitload of it in there you just have to keep a broad mind at all times, theres imagery on disease and imagery on the feeding aof a beast check out the begging, most of its in there good luck mate
