Hi, I have Pinnacle Studio PCTV(PCI) i tried using winvcr for capturing video from vcr but the software did not dectect the audio device it is disabled so iam unable to capture audio but iam able to hear audio when playing Using tvtuner there also iam unable to capture audio. I even tried installing DirectX media 6 as suggested by winvcr support but in vain please help me!!

Answers

1. Connect the audio out from your VCR directly to your audio card's line-in input. Don't use the audio loop back cable from the PCTV. Use the RCA-Stereo Jack cable for this purpose.

2. Right click on the your audio properties at the bottom right (the speaker) and launch Volume Control then select line-in as your audio source in record properties. Make sure it is not muted.
