As part of restoration of historic B.of L.E. 1927 Venice depot by Sarasota County Government,this is a reachout for help in locating and purchasing a caboose, baggage car, circus car, and box car to be displayed on depot grounds.

With reference to your inquiry regarding the caboose at Palmdale...I work near there and can photograph it to save you a trip. It's in extremely poor condition. Being unfamiliar with the work needed for it's restoration, I can't comment on it's potential. Let me know if you'd be interested in photographs of it. Rick Walls

I think there is still a caboose sitting at Palmdale, Fl. North of LaBelle about 15 miles. It may be easy to get, as it has been there for a while, and isn't being maintained.
