a man bumps into a woman in a hotel lobby and as he does, his elbow goes into her breast. the man turns to her and says, "ma'am, if your heart is as soft as your breast, i know you'll forgive me." she replies, if your penis is as hard as your elbow, i'm in room 221. enjoy, genie

Hey, I enjoy a good joke as much as the next person, BUT, PLEASE post a rating in the heading of such. Adults aren't the only ones reading this board. My kids often read over my shoulder as they are interested in homesteading topics and I encourage their learning. And as others have stated, we like the option of skipping over some topics. Thanks.

If you think your kids don't know what a breast and penis are, it's time to stop reading and look for the missing cards.

Bad form, JLS! I thought the joke was funny, but I'd also like the option of viewing it without youngsters around.

sorry, sorry. i didn't mean to upset anyone. i guess i'm real relaxed with human sexuality. i come from an open family and we never had anything to hide. i'm so sorry

Genie, Read your joke and liked it. Don't let them get to you. If you would have rated your joke. They would have beat down the door to get in. They check everything out. If I was kid, this would be the last site I'd have visited.

Keep your head up.

No one said anything about them not knowing what a breast and penis are. I don't think it's appropriate for them to see sex represented as something to do on impulse. It's not in line with our beliefs! That's all.

Sorry I will have to agree with a R rating .I am trying my darnest to teach my children sex isn't something to be taken lightly .To what a long LONG time " mom would like them to wait til marriage and yes I even dream about clean rooms too "Sex doesn't scare me as much as aids or pregnancy .P.S. I did like the joke.

glynnis, the answer is very simple. If you don't see a rating after the word joke, wait until the kids are not around to view.

Wow, sorry I didn't realize that it was such an imposition to type a letter or two to indicate a rating. PARDON ME. Wow, I didn't even use the word Christian and I still got it! I was only trying to safegaurd my children, but you put your wishes first. I didn't ask for sensoring, or say any thing negative about the joke. I like jokes. I believe in freedom of speech. Now, that being said, can you see that your response (just don't open it if not rated) is inconsiderate? What's wrong with morality, compassion, kindness?

Normally if I have a question about a book, movie ,TV show or the likes, I check it out FIRST then I let the little ones partake If I feel it is OK. I do not rely on someone else to do these things for me. What if he thought it was G rated? Not everyone's rating system is the same obviously and it is a SHAME someone can just post a joke without someone else jumping on them.

PS Good Joke, I enjoyed it.

I think Genie may be new and thus missed the thread(s) asking for "ratings" on the jokes. This will happen, you know, so it probably IS a good idea to preview before letting the kids see the jokes. I still think it's a good idea to put a rating on the joke. If you are unsure, us Hillbilly's criteria. Just put an 'R' on it!
