rennet question

I am relatively new to cheesemaking and I was wondering how you use rennet tablets in place of the liquid when the recipe calls for liquid. Also does anyone have a brie recipe as it is my favorite and I would like to try it? Thanks in advance! cara lewis cnllewis@email.com

1/4 of a tablet = 1/2 teaspoon liquid

Hi Cara: plan on plenty of dissolving time for the tablet amount that you need. I really squash it up good between two spoons and then dissolve it in a little water and stir until it is really dissolved before I add it to my milk.
