I am looking for a source of red or golden lentil to grow (not sprout). The lentils I bought in an Indian/Pakistani store do not sprout. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Couldn't you buy organic ones in a health food store and plant them? Since they are not treated with anything, I don't see why they wouldn't grow.

Generally the ones you find in an Indian store are not only hulled, but split, so you won't be able to grow them. I'm also interested in growing them, but I've got to figure out how to hull them myself before I do. Seems like it would be pretty tricky.
