If you are registered on eBay (its free) you can create a Personal Shopper. If you use the key words of cream separator, it will alert you via e-mail to each new listing for up to the next 90-days. You can have up to three Personal Shopper requests at a time.

eBay is a great way to find things and the market sets the price. However, beware of high shipping prices. None delivery of merchandise, usually things like computer systems, bought over the Internet is a leading fraud area. Either have 100% faith in the seller or don't bid.

Say you find an item, but won't pay more than $30.00 for it. It's current price is $10. eBay will put your bid in at $10, and then automatically up your bid in counter-bids until it eachs $30. At that time they send you an over-bid notice.

A friend had a small collection of vintgage vehicle screw-on hubcaps and commented he hadn't been able to find any for years looking in flea markets, etc. In a year I found him over 20 through e-Bay. He was also looking for some Edgar Rice Burroughs paperback books to complete two series. I have found all but two for him within two weeks.

I checked out this auction and, by contacting the seller, found out the reserve price is $300.00. It can be shipped UPS, but ground delivery will likely be between $80 and $120. It is in Southern California. Thus, you would likely have around $400 in a used separator with no manual or spare parts availability.
