I’m looking for a book but am having trouble locating it - I hope you can make a recommendation.

I lead large groups of people and want to tell them inspiring stories of teams that have overcome great obstacles to make significant achievements. I believe that through these stories, I can inspire and motivate my teams to stretch their performance and level of commitment.

Some stories that come to mind are development of the Space Shuttle and construction of the Empire State Building. The development of the Space Shuttle consisted of several thousand projects with several hundred vendors - yet it all came together successfully. Also, construction of the Empire State Building, the largest building of its time, was filled with engineering obstacles, but the team built it in less than 1.5 years (smaller buildings took longer.

I have been looking in the business and history sections of book stores but have not yet found a suitable book. Any titles you can offer would be much appreciated. Thank you Kevin Field
