Does anyone have The seed for the African Kettle Gourd? Do you know where they can be found?

Try the American Gourd Society, somewhere in Ohio I think. Don't know if they have a web site or not. Have you tried simply putting 'gourds' or 'African kettle gourd' in your browser? Is the African kettle gourd the same as 'Bushel' gourd? Bushel gourd is a very large, round to slightly oblate shape up to 2 ft. diameter, and brown when dry. If so, then Gurney's usually offers it. You might try their website.

Is that the same as calabash gourds? You might find them under that name . . . . .

Kettle gourd is a much larger version of bushel gourd.

Try this site - I buy a lot of seeds from them. It may take you a few minutes to find what you are looking for - the site is set up in sections - so take your time and look around. Also make sure to look in Rachels seeds (same site) - there are usually gourds there. www.seedman.com
