Bush lied AGAIN

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

He immediately proclaimed that Cheney did not have a heart attack, without knowing this for a fact. The doctor later revelaed that he did have a heart attack.

It's easy to see the way this creep works. He instinctively denies anything that might have negative implications, even if it is the truth.

This is a pattern of behavior that he has developed ever since he was a bratty kid, and he never grew up. He thinks that lying is the best way to stay out of trouble, rather than confronting reality and dealing with it honestly.

He wouldn't know how to tell the truth if his life depended on it, and now OUR lives may depend on it. Not a good way to go through life, and a pitiful way to lead a country.

You are making the mistake of assuming he's intelligent enough to know what's right or wrong. This guy's an imbecile in dweeb's clothing.

Look down a couple threads.

It takes docs at least 4 and sometimes 8 -12 hours to know whether there has been any muscle death, based on iso-enzyme levels.

AND the docs had said that there was NO heart attack, as of when I went to work at 11. The fact that they did an angiogram and inserted a stent means that they saw an occlusion.

And by then they would have seen a rise in his enzymes.

You go to the hospital with chest pains and an EKG that shows no NEW changes (like Cheney's), if your doc sez to you "You are having a heart attack" he's lyin to you. Because he doesn't know yet.

SHeesh learn the science before you start callin folks morons and dweebs and liars.

Excuse US for not carrying a medical degree in our hip pocket. Fact is, Dubya was tellin' the 'merican public that Cheney-Boy was A-OK - no heart attack - when, indeed, he was in the midst of surgery. Now that's some whopper, even in yer parts.

Bush repeated what the doctors were initially saying to everyone. Your claims are quite basless, unless you have some factual evidence to post showing that Bush knew Cheney had indeed had a heart attack when he made the statement. But facts aren't too important to anonymous snipsters, are they.....

You know, heart problems are no joke. I'm no fan of Bush/Cheney, but come on ..... can't you put partisan bullshit aside for one minute?

BTW, I'm not a doctor, nor do I have a medical degree, but *I* knew what Night Train posted. Chances are if you know someone who's had a heart attack (or what s/he thought was a heart attack), you'd know the procedure(s).

Look at the timing

"Cheney admitted himself to the hospital about 4:30 a.m. EST Wednesday. Testing two hours later revealed an artery had narrowed since his last heart checkup in 1996."

"Through a blood vessel in his leg, doctors threaded a stent to prop open the narrowed artery...Cheney had the procedure performed six hours after being admitted."

Hmmmm..admitted at 4:30 AM, testing at 8:30 AM showed a clogged artery...procedure at 10:30 AM...but Bush conveniently neglected to mention any of this when he addressed the nation.

Don't believe me? Here's more proof of Bush's lie

"In late morning, Bush went before reporters in Austin, Texas, to say that Cheney was doing fine. He did not mention Cheney's surgery."

``Dick Cheney is healthy. He did not have a heart attack,'' Bush said.

See? Shrubya is full of shit! Now all you Bush supporters can quietly slink away without comment because you can't defend the Snake-Tongued Devil, can you?

P.S. To the smart-ass, snippy David...when you're willing to accept all the spam delivered to my email address, I'll post without being anonymous.

Can't wait to hear your comments on "the proof" you requested, Big Guy. Maybe you ought to be more polite before you shoot off your mouth, eh?
