What do you think about "piracy" (online or off) of music, movies, and consumer goods in general?

Personally, I'm all for it. Not outright copying, but transfer from one format to another, or from one culture to another should be free and uninhibited, I think. Look at CD's, or the emulation scene; the Japanese economy won't suffer because some guy in Taiwan is suddenly able to afford their music, nor will ours if some broke college student downloads a $500 arcade game on their computer. To say nothing of Napster (ahem).
