Staples has contracted with suppliers who have practiced clear-cut harvesting of coastal rainforests. This does irreparable damage to the topsoil, and so the ecosystem. Home Depot was found to be guilty of the same practice last year, and has desisted as a result of a concerted boycott. We can make a difference!
