Why do the good guys always get screwed? You bend over backwards and all you get is a rotten fuck. What's up with that?

Because the "good guys" fight fair, while the so called bad guys do not, and, as such, have plenty of underhanded and unjust tricks to overpower any sort of honesty and justice that was attempted to be expressed. Unless you become just as dirty and underhanded as these bad guys, then you don't stand a chance. Might as well save yourself the trouble, and allow the wolves to tear you apart. at least they are more honorable creatures than some individuals i can think of.

I was told that I'd received a "shout" in the Not-So, so I've come-a- calling. And I shall sound off on this matter.... The Good Guys always get screwed, because they're facing the wrong way. Never looking back has a nice ring to it, but it creates a tendency for getting plunked in the posterior. The Good Guys fall in their expectation that their only competition will be from other Good Guys. The folly is obvious. If you were all good guys, you'd join together. The Good Guys competition will come from the Bad Guys (not surprisingly). Just as the Bad Guys must incorporate elements of Good in their guise and gameplan, so too must the Good Guys be willing to accept a little Bad. This is the shame of society. In order to be truly Good, you must be a little Bad.

Act One, may it rest in peace, faced the slings and arrows of their outrageous fortunes. They marched on towards the enemy everyday, accepting challenges bravely, regardless of size or difficulty. But when arrows started piercing their hides, they never turned to face the enemy as they flanked them. They kept marching forward. No one had their backs, and unable to defend themselves and they were overtaken in a most underhanded and dishonorable way. Shot in the back. They expected a certain code of war would be followed, but the first rule of war is that there are no rules. They were good people, good soldiers. And they paid for that goodness with their beloved organization.

The good guys always get screwed cause noone takes the time to fucking learn how to play the game! Good guys like to try to win it all in an underdog fashion, good guys honestly believe that being good and nice and righteous will win out in the end... basically good guys need to take lessons from those they hate to get ahead.

When I was last down in Newport News I went to a CNU soccer game (the one where they beat Greensboro to advance to the regional finals this weekend). I had my face painting in blue and white and was hardly recognizable. Guess who tapped me on a shoulder to ask how I was doing? Tribble himself, he actually recognized me at the game and came up to me to talk... Do you guys consider me a "bad guy" or do you consider me as one of your own? Learn to play the game, learn to screw others over, learn to take the victories where you can and learn that you won't always win...

Bending over backwards only gets a badback and extreme heartache and pain and misery... such is...

So the good guy is justified when he turns around and beats the fucking bad guy so hard he'll be the only bastard in heaven with a wheelchair.
