A picture says a thousand words... about the best reasons to vote for Gore!

Ad agency goofs campaign billboard October 21, 2000 Web posted at: 3:51 PM EDT (1951 GMT) CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (AP) -- A mistake at an ad agency led to a billboard on a Charlotte interstate highway that proclaims "Gore 2000" and shows a picture of George W. Bush. Ad agency executive David Oakley said Saturday the mistake would be fixed Monday, but he wouldn't say which presidential candidate the billboard will represent. "I can't say," Oakley said. "We've been instructed not to say." Until the mixup is corrected, both presidential candidates will get equal time on the billboard on I-485 in front of thousands of motorists in North Carolina's largest city. Oakley said the mistake was discovered Friday, too late to get a crew to change the ad.

An entire crew put that up and they didn't notice? Wow, sounds like a lot of people don't even know what is happening with politics, and probably don't care.

No accident. It is obviously part of the Republican led disinformation campaign. Attempting to link the Gore name with the image of a former drug addict. :^)

In the words of Decker; chuckle

Best wishes,,,,

This would explain why Bush is supposedly leading in the polls... a lot of people who watched the debates are so ignorant that they thought Gore was Bush and Bush was Gore.

As for me and my house...we will vote for and give support to the presidential candidate in favor of banning late term abortions and hasn't sold my country out to Russia or China in any backroom deal.

Patriotism, life, ethics & morals are the real issues or should be in this campaign.

"Patriotism, life, ethics & morals are the real issues or should be in this campaign."

Which candidate has those qualities?

The billboard was put up by Adams Oudoor Advertising which is a subsidiary of Samuel Adams brewery. Samuel Adams brewery is a Democrat front intended to cancel the influence of Adolph Coors brewery which is a Republican front. Both parties are very concerned about the beer drinker vote. Current polls place it too close to call.

The billboard was intended to be pro-Gore but the Adams workers were so blotto that they put up the wrong pic. It's so sad, Coors drinkers are much better at holding their brewskis.

BUSH CHUG-A-LUG, BUSH CHUG-A-LUG!!

Personally, I'm glad the actual issues are at least somewhat more defined than the rhetoric I see in that statement.

BTW, and just out of curiosity, whose definition of those "issues" are we going to use -- yours?

"whose definition of those "issues" are we going to use"

Patricia,

That poster is obviously a Shrub supporter, so I think he wants to follow Shrub's definition of those issues.

- Shrub is very patriotic because he won't require guns to be registered.

- Shrub is pro life because he will ban abortions, even though he participated in several of them in the past.

- Shrub is more ethical than the current administration, because he gets his bribes from oil corporations instead of Buddhist temples.

- Shrub has much higher morals than the current administration, because he calls reporters "major-league assholes" and he thinks it is deplorable to get a blow job. It's okay to waste 20 years of your life partying and having sex with college girls though, because in those days abortions were okay.

Things are different now, Shrub has grown. He is a decent, upstanding role model for our children. ;-)

It's not a mistake. They really are the same.
