Why bother?

Why should I or anyone even care about a "Green Society"?

For what it is worth, future generations deserve everything that we received from prior generations. I do not see anyway around it. Let's get busy with building a sustainable world. Im4wolf

Ed, tell me, overall, do you think that you will leave the world a)better than you found it to be b)the same as you found it to be c)worse than you found it to be ?

Right now, I believe a majority of people are leaving the world worse off. If our Earth contained a limitless and inexhaustible supply of raw material, resources, etc...then it would not be necessary to care about a Green Society. Unfortunately, however, we need to be wise about the resources we have and make better choices when we can. People should be in a symbiotic relationship with nature...not a parastitic one.

Allow me to retract the statement, paraphrased "we would not need to care about a green society if we had limitless supplies of resources". I do not mean to indicate that the environment is the only issue for greens...and that one wouldn't have to care if supplies were unlimited...we should always care...

Why should we care? ...Because care promotes growth.

Also, parasitic, not parastitic (typo).

Thanks
