Do nothing. Learn to meditate and empty your mind. If you accomplish emptying of your mind good for you. Of course dreams are necessary but you can't rest in bed forever, even if you think you didn't dream. You mind will always be full of dreams whether they are visionary or nocturnal and maybe right now in your life you are fullfilling a dream that you don't realize you are having, because the dream to not to have to dream can be pretty worthwhile dream.

What a magical moment this must be for you, that you on the cusp of enjoy the connection to an empty space. What can be greater than your mind imitating the greatest space of all, a Universe of infinite space. Very people even think to unthink never mind get the chance to do the unthinkable. We all have dreams Richard but its what we think that we have had which defines how we see them.

And if this is really something you don't want to do, then be greater than an Olympic Champion that wins gold, be an Olympic Champion that mentors others and teaches them how to win gold.

Whether you find a protege or find the beauty of the chasm waiting to house even greater dreams, I say good luck to your Richard with your future journeys and at your current rest stop.

That's great. As people age many become happier for exactly this reason, they are able to say, "I've done most of the things I wanted." The downside is, "now what?" That's actually a challenge itself, to figure out how to continue to want to grow when the obvious things are done. Many people turn to helping or educating or leading others. Sometimes that leads to even larger versions of the things you felt were important to begin with... changing your industry, the country, the world (with the help of others). There's always more to do. Try to get in touch with what interests and excitess you.
