LG seems to be widely reported about in Indian media circles. So you can start by looking for news stories. I don't know the equivalent of a Hoovers website for Indian companies but there are research organizations that you can sign up which provide information for a free, but usually a trip to your companies website should be enough to begin gleaming information.

Of course, being an insider, just asking the right questions can allow you to piece together enough clues to see where the company is going.
