Hello, About a year ago I found a kitten of about 2 months old and now he is a year old. I think that he is a maine coon brown tabby, but I am not sure. He has the bushy racoon ringed tail, ruffled under coat on his stomach and his britches. He has black coloring under his paws starting from the tip of his toes to the heel of his foot. He has 5 toes on his front paws and four on his back. He has the "M" shape marking on his head and the brick red nose with black trim. He is very semetrical with the same patterns on both sides of his body. His fur is browns to golds and creams. He has golden eyes with green around the pupil. His fur has been changing colors. Where he had the white around his eyes are now turning a cream golden color. His tail is getting a cream color on the underneath part. He's a very affectionate cat who likes to catch flies and play fetch and he retrieves ping pong balls in his mouth, he also likes to play catch as well. He likes to help around the house and follows me from room to room sometimes. He makes a funny but cute noise sounds like a pigeon when he starts to get wild and playful. So in conclusion I am wondering if he could be a maine coon, since we found him running around the streets I do not know if he is or not. And would like to know if he could be? and if he is how and what would it take to get him entered in cat shows. One more question he gets hot quickly when we take him outdoors on a leash, does this have anything to do with a maine coon or is it just him.
