Interesting site, RogoThis stat caught my eye on their site...
"In China, a farming family occupies an average of only 0.4 hectares of farmland while in the United States, the figure is over 100 hectares. In other Asian countries such as Japan, the average occupancy is 1 hectare to 1.2 hectares according to Du." [0.4 hectares is roughly one acre. 100 hectares is about 247 acres.]
The Chinese are worried that [US] imports are going to ruin the family farm. *G* where have I heard THAT before? Looks like farming is hard all over.
