county update {misc.}

well i spoke w/ the county on fri., got nowhere but i did call a new guy this morning and got a few ideas. when i called the message said this call maybe recorded, well when i got through i said i wanted the call recorded and would hold until it was set up, that got them . i then told them the problem and asked for ideas to solve it. i was told the only reason it was a issue was the neighbor from hell complained and they , the county , could care less as long as it was not a safty issue. so at 7:45am i was out there with a sprayer of vinegar and weedwacker,so the neighbor came out screaming i woke her up and she was calling the police,i then told her to go ahead . she then say the sprayer and asked what i was doing i told her iwas not mowing it instead spraying it . she freaked.. screaming she was not looking at a bunch of dead weeds all summer and how dare i. well at this point i told her all she had to do was call the county and speak to mr.--- and the violation would be dropped and maybe for now on it would be a good idea if she would mind her own buisness. well on call yet from the county saying she has called....i'll give her a few more hours then its spray time! thanks for listening needed to vent!!

Sorry to hear of your problems Renee, we too, had a neighbor from hell...in the end they ended up moving away but not nearly soon enough! I can relate to the feeling of stress and frustration you must be feeling but IT IS a great feeling to get the last laugh....enjoy yours!!!

renee, it's sounds like this lady needs to find a hobby other than driving you nuts. sorry she is such a headache.

My neighbor thinks it's funny that her dog chases my chickens. Then she gets mad when I chase her dog with a broom. Who needs a dog barking at you on your own property. Law says I can shoot her dog. Always thought a paint ball gun would work great. Sting the dog and leave a message for the neighbor.

There is also this little spot of grass they don't claim so we end up cutting it. It is better to keep them happy. Wait until I finally get my goats to go into that pen next to their house....

If your zoning allows, put a livestock pen between you , stocked with "opinionated" jackasses or mules. The man that introduced me to this had a jack he called "The Senator". Worked pretty good. His neighbor from hell moved about 4 months after the senator started his "filibuster".
