Blood Simple

Anyone out there catch the Blood Simple Director's Cut? It's in the theaters now.

I forgot how much I liked that movie. It was goddamn amazing. By far the best of the Coen Brother's Films in my opinion.

I like Lebowski best.

Close seconds are Miller's Crossing and Raising Arizona.

Lebowski is just such a great take on the old 40's detective films. I love the Bogie-esque feel. A guy who is thrust into the center of a situation where everyone knows more than him, like The Big Sleep.

What about Fargo, as the Coen Brother's Best Film? That, in my opinion, was the best film that they have ever made, period. Blood Simple was important too, in terms of their career, and it was entertaining, but Fargo, was their best.
