Peggy (wclpc) ......and another "tiny" victory (blueberry pie)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Thank you so much Peggy for the canned bluberry pie filling recipe! A friend and I did 73 pints (37 of those were mine) of filling yesterday. The clear jell worked beautifully and the results are absolutely delicious!!! I have only used the instant clear jell before and so was hesitant to use the regular.. but after using the regular... I don't think I want to go back!!! Thanks so much. I'm going to wipe the jars down and go put them away.

I would love to have this recipe!!! I have looked back through the forum trying to find it with no success. Would you care to post or tell me where I can find it? Thanks

Me, too!!! Also, can it be used with other fruit? I'd love to do some Saskatoon berries this way.

It's in the "Older Category" section. Click on "Baking" and then scroll down to the very last entry. I'm not sure about the Saskatoon berries... but you can use other types of fruit with it. It's a wonderful recipe! I'm ashamed to admit that I've eaten a pint of the stuff straight out of the jar! Many blessings to you all!
