turning eggs in incubator

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Has anyone else done away with turning eggs in the incubator? I read in Countryside some time ago that turning eggs did not improve hatchability. I have since stopped turning eggs at all, and have noticed no drop in the hatch rate. Any similar results?

Hi Kim, I read the same thing in Countryside before we subscribed. Our sons next science fair project (5th grade) will be several experiments to test the importance of turning. Can someone please post the Countryside issue so we can re read the article. Many thanks - Kim
