Ever quit a job for purely emotional reasons?

I'm going to quit my job. It's not a bad job, or bad people, I just can't stand to be there anymore. Am I the only one to quit for such a frivolous reason?

It's not frivolous! I've left a job for emotional reasons as well, a couple times, in fact. The most recent was the job before the one I've had for the past three years. I was teaching preschool at a Montessori school. I adored the job, adored the kids, adored their families... but detested my boss. She was shallow, dishonest and meddling. She got involved in her employees' personal lives (including mine) and I didn't have the chutzpah to tell her to back off. Dealing with her made me queasy.

It took a hospitalization for depression before I left. The improvement was dramatic and immediate.
