Needs to get rid of rabbit cages

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I recently bought a two and a half acre parcel in the Kern River Valley in California (Southern Sierras). The man I bought it from used to raise rabbits. So now I am the proud owner of 18 rows of rabbit cages (rows are about 100 ft. long) contained in 3 long sheds. If anyone in the Ridgecrest to Bakersfield area needs cages, waterers, food hoppers for rabbits, please let me know and we can make arrangements. There are also a few old but unused nest boxes.

check your local 4h, also arba might help, if they are comercialy made they should dismantel, you would just have to cut[wire cutters or tin snips would work]through a couple metal clips, then you could take them apart and ship them anywere, then people could buy clips[ or you could supply them]and you could sell them on ebay for 10 or 20 bucks each, are they stacking cages[ one on top of another joined with legs]?here is the address for 2 rabbit cage supplyers they carry cage clips and if you order a cataloge [free] you can see what they go for new and how they go together. k w cages email is kwcages@aol.com. morton jones [my fav nice folks, quick delevery] www.mortonjones.com . Hope this helps.

I am very interested in your cages. However I'm in Kentucky. If you ever decide to take them apart and sell them, they can be shipped UPS. Please email me at rlbroering@juno.com with a price per unit,I will pay shipping cost.

Thank You
