The patterns in the US chart have a square from the Sun to its own ascendent on Tuesday when the FED meets. This pattern means that the government is going to do something to upset the economy / markets.....tho, whether it is the FED or something totally different I have no idea.......But, with the square its own ascendent the US is going to have much lower markets at some point during the early part of the week. After mid week the Lunar chart has lots of very grim squares and the economy is going to show lots of slowing.....perhaps too much slowing. Tho, there are some trines that imply INFLATION along with the economic contraction.

Last week I noted that the US charts had several more times when the Sun would be square its own ascendent between now and the election. However, on closer examination I saw that even the months when the Sun was in favorable aspect to its own ascendent it was in horrible aspect to something else. So, it seems that all the months till the election have bad patterns from the Sun to its own ascendent at Washington. That inrigued me so much I ran out charts for the first six months of next year (2001) and lo and behold they all had bad aspects from the Sun to its own chart at Washington as well. It seems that the US Economy is about to turn sharply lower and stay that way for a long time.....and in the process create millions of newly rational people: Government haters. For the parasites there will be very little left to tax and for those still working the thought of any taxes ....let alone more taxes will create horrible ANGST / ANGER

The three cities in East Asia I look at have different patterns....but they are all fairly terrible....and there is little in the way of prosperity there.

Several cities have five and six quintiles all in a row.....I have no idea if that is significant....but five or six quintiles imply a great many decisions to be made. Here it is when the really major cycles and lots of places and beseiged with quintiles demanding decisions to see if things can not work better. Japan for instance had its bubble burst ten years ago and the economy has not really recovered yet.....I realize that many think it has.....but they have not seen what is yet to come

The charts for London are gruesome...really terrible. The chart for Bonn seems fairly mild in the first part of the week but turns very grim at the end of the week.

Basically, I think many have been on cloud nine and dimly realize the world had some economic troubles in 97 and 98 but that is long past / ancient history and now there will be nothing but perpetual economic recovery. However, in the real world all these charts are turning very GRIM / FOREBODING and some really horrible economic times are right over the horizon. This week will begin to show the really grim side of coming ecnomic disaster. Many places have four squares to Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus as well as squares to Pluto and the Node. The World economy is about to turn sharply lower Jack Perrine | Athena Programming | 626-798-6574 _________________| 1175 N Altadena Dr | ____________ Jack@Minerva.com | Pasadena CA 91107 | FAX-398-8620

As a fellow astrologer, what this guy has to say is bunk. The Sun, as rapidly as it goes through a chart would not have these malicious effects. It would not be making any aspects to the US Ascendant that it would not have made in any other year.

When doing financial astrology, the outer planets transiting are much more important. Even the language of this guy shows he does not have even a rudimentary understanding of financial astrology.

Fladh, I know you like to spark discussion, but next time I suggest you delete the personal plug of anyone whose work you post. Thanks.

I concur wholeheartedly with FS. I think this is a case of some guy trying to make the data fit his pre-conceived conclusion.

FS and LunaC,

Thanks for the comments. Your opinions are appreciated and the reason that I post stuff.

FS, you said,

As a fellow astrologer, what this guy has to say is bunk.

Well! Finally something a Lunacologist and an "astrologist" can agree on, that is it's BUNK.

Poking around after a long day,

Frank
