Dear Help:

FWIW, this is a Free Uncensored Forum....

If you wish not to read the posts, you have the 'choice' to not do so.

-- consumer (shh@aol.com), May 11, 2000.

Al-D is back, and he likes to start a thread every 10 minutes or so. [exaggerating.] He was kicked off the old forum. Personally, I'm glad he's back.

As Consumer said, the choice is yours to read what you choose. I enjoy the diversity of beliefs on this forum. When everyone on this forum starts believing the same thing, it'll be time for me to leave.

That still doesn't address my question. Why all the Christian stuff the past month or so?

It's ooozing out all over the place, all the sudden! What brought it all on?

-- Help Me Out Here (Whats_Up@With_That.com), May 11, 2000.

I think it's kinda funny, seems like it wasn't a week or so ago that someone made the remark that the board was mostly populated with athiests.

Helpmeout...

Perhaps "SOMEONE" is trying to get your attention. Seems to have worked. Go with it. =)

Dittos Capn:

question, where were they all when you asked for prayer?

cin: i liked that, good comeback.

-- consumer (shh@aol.com), May 11, 2000.

My point is, why here? why now? why all the sudden? I mean did someone send an invite out announcing TB2K is full of athiests and all the Christians come running here to save the group or what?

-- Help Me Out Here (Whats_Up@With_That.com), May 11, 2000.

Mayhaps.

-- capnfun (capnfun1@excite.com), May 11, 2000.

Someone is accusing folks of Christian bashing on the EZBOARD forum. I suppose that could have something to do with it. OTOH, why all the IRS threads today?

-- Anita (Anita_S3@hotmail.com), May 11, 2000.

Help:

Why ask why?

-- consumer (shh@aol.com), May 11, 2000.

I agree with Anita and consumer, this is an open forum. If you don't care for what someone is posting regardless of the topic. Press the "end" button.

Anita:

You have been here a long time too. If you remember these anti-tax types crawl out from the baseboards from time to time. As I remember, May is the month that they hatch [based on past years] :o)

Or so I remember.

Best wishes,,,,

To the tune of the old, OLD Pepsi jingle---

Christianity hits the spot

12 Apostles, that's a lot

Jesus Christ and a virgin too

Christianity's the thing for you

Help Me Out Here,
I think it's largely a matter of perception. For example, many people (not including myself) regard Coke vs. Pepsi as a religious issue.

-- David L (bumpkin@dnet.net), May 11, 2000.

I just did a quick scan of the recent threads and I don't see the Christian ones you're talking about, not that it makes any difference to me. Discussions about God, love, and the nature of reality are not specifically "Christian" threads.

I don't care if it rains or freezes

Long as I have my plastic Jesus

Riding on the dashboard of my car

I feel that I'm protected amply

If I've got the whole damn family

Riding on the dash board of my car

Plastic Jesus, plastic Jesus

Riding on the dash board of my car

I feel I'm protected amply

If I've got the whole damn family

Riding on the dashboard of my car

Sometimes I fear he's losing power

Getting weaker by the hour

Sliding from the dash board of my car

But my lord I won't foresake

I'll nail him there for old times sake

Nail him to the dash board of my car!
