Joseph Guarnerius 1724 violin

I have a 1724 Joseph Guarnerius fecit violin. It has the name printed on the insid with Crenonae anno 1724 Under it. Could someone tell me the approximate value?

Ennette, no one can tell you if you have an original Guarnerius violin with out examining it. Guarnerius violins have been reproduced for many years and the chance of your violin being an original is slim. I would suggest contacting Sotheby's or Christie's and have their experts have a look at it, with vintage instruments going for prices in the five figures it would certainly worth spending a little time & money to find out for sure.
