I'm climbing in Chamonix this May, around Argentiere basin, Mont Blanc du Tacul, and Grand Pilier d'Angle. Are skis(short or long), snowshoes, or just booting it out most appropriate this time of year for these areas? DearMarcus short skis orsnow shoes would be ok these both can be hired locally in chamonix [ snell sports best shop for hire and purchase of all gear] any more info req just ask I have a very good knowledge of cham + surrounding areas. HAVE A GOOD 1
