Does anyone else think we should expand our topic?

I think that we should expand our topic a little. As long as we have all this great info on the railroads, and we're going to be discussing the implications and effects of mergers on society, I think we should talk about other mergers as well.

There have been a lot of mergers in the news lately, and I think this would help us to have more material.

Anyone agree or disagree?

You have a good point and I agree with you Shelly. Since we are not yet lacking in content, there is no reason to go searching for more.

I don't have a problem with expanding the project as long as we meet the subject and synopsis that have been submitted to Professor Ropp.

The only thing I see wrong with expanding is that it may become too general. I think if in the next couple of days we still feel we are lacking in enough info for the paper we could, but I did overhear Dr. Ropp telling someone else that once you get started people often find that they have too much info, so keep it as specific as possible.
