Who is the author and what is the name of this poem?

A friend sent me this poem via e-mail after my mother had passed away from a long and painful battle with cancer. I found it very touching and was wondering if there was a name to this poem and an author or if it was an unknown. Thank you.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be So God put His arms around you, and whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and saw you fade away, And though we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. Your heart of gold stopped beating, Your hands were laid to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

Lori, the author is unknown, the title is God saw you getting tired.

There is one last stanza :

And when I saw you sleeping,

So peaceful and free from pain

I could not wish you back

To suffer that again.
