I have a Black Maine Coon cat who is Name Bebe. I got him from a friend who couldent take care of him, he was only about 2 or 3 weeks old. I noticed 2 canine teeth on the top of his mouth and another set right behind those that eventually fell out. He has started turning red from his tail up. Would my cat be a Maine Coon Kitty? Or something else. Thankyou.

If his baby teeth fell out soon after you recived him, I think he was much older than 3 week's.You say he's Red. Does he have a lot of hair? How about the paw's yet, do they have fur growing between his pads? Thier hair grows there like mad anytime after 6 months. And the sounds they make is wild, when they talk to one another it's so neat. And they are very friendly. I have 3. 1 Tri-colored female (she has 8 different colors on her!)She's just a little over a year old. My oldest male is Black & White, he's so long, he's only 2 so he has lot's of time to grow. And then my Baby! Garret is his name. He's 3 months old. Hes a Red & White Tabby. The only one born to his mother. He is so full of love. Good luck with your MC. You can pretty much tell if there MC's after 3-6 months!

I have a calico colored Main Coon she is one year old and weighs 12 pounds she is most lovable. the Main coon can come in any other color than tabby. I call her Raggsie becaues she is the color of a greeserag when soiled with several shades of brown, dold and white on her. When she lays in the drive way she looks like an old greese rag lying there.
