I'd recommend you register with the mcats@onelist.com and maine-coons@fanciers.com sites and let the folks there know of your interest. There are many breeders on these lists and they may have some leads or ideas for you. Just go to onelist.com and sign onto mcats or (I think) to the Maine Coon Breeders & Fanciers Association and sign onto their discussion list there.
