Sports Indoor Settings

Does anyone have experience with taking indoor sports photos? Tonight, I tried my new rdc5300 - I thought I was taking good shots when reviewed in the LCD screen. Later, when connected to my computer I realized that nearly all the photos were blurred considerably. The more the action the more blurred the result! Now, I didn't use the flash because as I said, when the shots were previewed they looked fine with plenty of light. Thank-you.

Blurred action indicates too slow a shutter speed. Using your flash should rectify the problem, but will alter the 'look' somewhat. Why your shots looked good on the screen, I don't know. My experience is with traditional photography.
