Steve: I returned to TB2000 to reread Phil's reasons again. Am I growing senile or did I read a little "I'm from MIT and you need to toady to me" type attitude? Probably a perception on my part brought about by current executive leadership. I found his remark about " we here at MIT ..." just slightly condescending. However, he is young and has a right to be proud in attending so prestigious an institution.

Not sure how young Phil is...he's beem at MIT since 1976. Even assuming some of that time may have been as a student, that would put him probably in his 40's. But hey, I'm in my 40's and still consider myself young. :^>
