WATER HOSE REVOLUTION-CITIZENS PLEASE UNITE

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Please look a few posts back re: the safety of an ordinary water hose. If there is some dangerous component in a hose, WHY IS IT ON THE MARKET? Who allowed it? Don't they know we fill pets water bowl, and yes, small kids get a cool drink from same hose. If such a danger exists, let us ferret out the deceiver(s)and sentence them to drinking from their marketed hose for the rest of their lives. Hummm, let's see, in what other areas may we have been duped?

This will be one of the positive legacies of Y2K and having frequented this board...many people, some for the first time in their lives, have become aware of how much toxicity our lifestyles and it's attendent technology have created. If we have experienced 'only' a BITR by March the only loss for any doomer should be if he's so blind as to attempt to crawl back into the hole of ignorant bliss and not continue to try to do something (anything...think small steps...anything that will get you going...some people have to think big steps) to repair, restore, save for the future, or otherwise actively engage in loving our planet...our home.

For those of you familiar with Gene Franks ("the water filter guy from Denton") you'll love this article.
