BULLETIN: Military Special Ops to incite race riots in NYC Times Square as pretext for martial law and US Army troops SEE the VIDEO for yourself

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I think this is breaking news. I don't think anyone else has posted it. This story just hit the "Sightings" Website mid-evening on 11/23.

Supposedly, a military special operations team was tasked with the role of instigating/inciting riots in New York City during New Year's Eve. The purpose was to create an excuse for the US Military to come in and take over the city... martial law? Apparently, at least according to this scenario. As part of the training, the officer or leader of the squad did a home video of the Times Square areas to show the unit at a briefing.

Now, before everyone heads for the exits saying, whoa this is just another anecdotal story...wait a minute. There's more. At least as of this posting, the host website that has published this story has also a copy of the video which you can download... RealVideo 2.6 MB download. The video itself is about 6:15 in length. It is rather eery. But, something doesn't seem quite right about it to me. I'm not sure how long that website will stay up. Also the host is Rumor Mill News. Which by its very name is suspicious. So, consider the source but if you can, download the video and see for yourself. I suspect this will be making the rounds soon enough...so maybe you'll get to see it first and maybe see it before someone pulls it down.

Here's the website URL:

Scroll down to the headline about Military assault on Times Square.

There's also a written transcript of the video. Caution: Video does contain some rather rough language at times and is describing how to start a race riot along with an apparent "rape" assault on a woman that is supposed to take place.

This team is supposed to start the trouble and then 'get out' before the troops arive. Note at one point the instructor talks about an "L-Z" = Landing Zone (?)...

So, after viewing, what are your thoughts? Does it seem real or does it seem like a hoax? I'll hold my thoughts for now so as not to prejudice anyone one way or the other.

I believe this is the same video that has been debunked as being "art". I saw a segment on NBC or MSNBC that tracked down the film student that did the taping.

Far as I can tell, he was just a little hoodlum that produced a prank, and is now hiding behind it as being "art".

I wouldn't worry about this.

Here is a thread about this video. http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=001pG2

I read the transcript and must say the prankster knows grunt jargon, e.g. boucou (a large number of). This idea of using American service personel for a black op reminds me of the movie Snake Eyes.

Carol,

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I must have somehow missed it over the weekend...but then I missed the NBC movie too so I didn't pay attention to threads that talked about it. Sorry for posting an old item. I wished I'd noticed it before tonite.

HOWEVER, I thought the video just didn't seem quite right. But on the old thread, the last post of 11/23 cites the "anomalies" website which has provided an update. Apparently, the Dep't of Justice and the FBI has shut the site down for unspecified reasons. Hmmm. Well perhaps there is something more to this story after all. Perhaps, the gov't made the film in such a manner to make it look like a bunch of right-wing kooks made the video so that they could use it as a pretext. As I watched the video, I just seemed to think it was some sort of a set up but from what angle and by whom is a little hard to say. It did seem to have a lot of Vietnam era terminology... words I hadn't really heard used in nearly 30 years, except by Vietnam Vets.

What is interesting about this is that Rumor Mills News has rescued the video and Sightings has posted the story. Now it will get a lot more exposure than before. Next thing you know it will show up on the Art Bell website and then World Net Daily.

Things just keep getting stranger and stranger...and I'm gonna guess "we've only just begun."

It's bullshit; too scripted, TOO much quasi-military jargon. Don't believe it.

Y'all know who Arlin is, and his history here. i passed this across him on , Oh, Sat. He had run it down because one of the groups he is connected with had seen it and had had soem problems. He indicated that it was anice try but TRES BOGUS in his opinion. I'll take his word for it, partly because it fits MY interpretation, but more from his knowledge and experience.

I was under the impression this was a doomers forum and everyone here just believed any doomer material that was passed on without attempting to substantiate any information.

Is this the same "R.C." who tried to debunk what FactFinder had written?

>>Is this the same "R.C." <<

Yes. He is also the same R.C. who seems to be avoiding my questions (posted several times over the past few days).
