I'm ready. Can't wait to see people starve and beg for water. I'll be heading into my bunker Dec 1. Good bye world.

Definately made one want to go infomagic!

The CSPAN evaluation seemed to be reasonable and pretty much what I have read here. There will be glitches and not enough has been done to prepare. The presenters were no ranting radicals, just knowledgeable and concerned academics and organizational heads.

We are, as they say, enscrewed.

Is there going to be a transcript or is it to be repeated???? Dang, sounds like I missed a good one.

You can see a first replay of tonight's panel program at GW University on C-SPAN 2 at 3:30 AM Wednesday morning, 11/24/99. You can also order a copy from C-SPAN by calling 1-800-277-2698.

I suspect that it will be played several more times during the next week.

My guess is that they will play it many more times if you call C-SPAN viewer services and request it.

Thanks for all the interest in the program.

By the way, here is the full website that I referred to:

I only had the chance to catch the Speaker from USAID - pretty boring, I did like the part where Mark Frauchi (sp) asked the rep from USAID if he had received any feedback from the TOOLKIT supplied to foreign countries - his response was yadayada...can mostly be used for contingency planning resource...yadayadayada....we are still receiving some requests for them (toolkit)...yadayadayda...."like its going to be of any use in the small amount of time remaining..."

I think Paula should be commended for her efforts! ;-)

Thank you for the info on the rebroadcast, Paula...I only cought the last half hour...was attending a family function and flipped it to C-Span!

Thanks for your tireless efforts to bring the real Y2K stuff to people, and I was impressed with what little I saw of panel and audience. I will be taping it on C-SPAN 2.

pst,

That was 3:30 AM EST.

Also, I note that I have the URL written incorrectly. It should be http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon

Thanks so much for your interest in the program.
