Just went to K-Market to get some more salt for the water softener, and they were almost all out....only had a few green bags - the expensive stuff. Don't remember that happening before! (Neither had the cashier). "I hear that train a'comin'!"

Everywhere I have been in Minnesota, I have seen pallets of the stuff. Sounds like just a local shortage IMHO.

In Australia it's called Washing soda. Any help? You can also use vinegar as a fabric softener.
